Who we are

Litsa Veldekis is the current President of the Australian Art Consulting Association of Australia.

-Former CEO of Menzies Art Brands, Litsa oversaw the sale of Sidney Nolan’s The First Class Marksman which now forms part of the permanent collection of the Art Gallery of New South Wales.

-In 2011, Litsa established Bonham's Australian and International Art at (2011-2014). As Head of Art she was responsible for developing the company’s strategic vision for the Australian art market.  During this time, Bonham's secured the largest single owner collection ever sold in Australia “The Reg Grundy Collection” ($19 million).

- At Bonham’s Litsa secured the Collection of Dr Colin and Mrs Elizabeth Laverty. Bonhams held this important single owner collection auction at Sydney’s Museum of Contemporary Art and it was widely considered one of the largest and most diverse collections ever offered for sale in Australia. 

Earlier this year, Litsa curated a Regional exhibition At Home: Howard Arkley as the inaugural exhibition for the $650,000,000 precinct in Liverpool.

- A passionate advocate for Australian contemporary art, she has regularly written for art publications and newspapers, and been interviewed on radio and appeared on television.
